Where it lands depends on the charger you choose, how far the cable runs from your fuse board and whether the board needs work first. A photo of the board and one of where the car parks is usually enough for a fixed price.

How it works

01

Send two photos

One of your fuse board, one of where the car parks. That shows whether the board can take a charger and how far the cable has to run.

02

Get your fixed price

We come back with one figure for the charger, the cable route and any work the board needs.

03

Fitted and certified

The charger goes in on its own circuit, then it is tested and certified before we leave.

Would highly recommend Tom and his team, fitted EV cabling in a challenging location, close attention to detail, thorough, tidy and polite. House left like they were never there. 100% recommend.

Questions

The things people ask.

How much does it cost to install an EV charger?

Our guide price for a home charge point is £850 to £1,400 (supplied and fitted, 7kW home charge point). The charger you pick, the length of the cable run and the state of your fuse board decide where it lands. The price is fixed once we have seen photos of the job.

Can I install an EV charger myself?

No. A charge point needs a new circuit from your fuse board, and in England a new circuit is notifiable work under Part P of the Building Regulations. It has to be done by a registered electrician, or checked and signed off by building control.

Do you fit charge points for businesses?

Yes. We work on homes, shops, offices and industrial units. Tell us how many charge points you have in mind and where they would go.

What do you need from me for a price?

A photo of your fuse board and one of where the car parks. If you already know which charger you want, tell us. If you do not, we can talk it through.
